Aine Gilligan ~ Writer Biography

Áine Gilligan is currently studying for a masters in journalism in DIT. She is originally from Roscommon but has been living and working in Dublin for the past four years.

She completed a Music and English degree in UCD in 2009 while writing for the University Observer. Influenced by her undergrad, and a passionate interest for all things musical, she hopes to pursue a career in music journalism.
Her eclectic tastes include house, jazz, reggae, soul, blues, trad, afrobeat and electronic music.

She is going to be regularly updating her blog with reviews and interviews of the fresh new talent competing for their place as the next Rising Star.
