Terms & Conditions

Rising Stars 2010

  • These terms and conditions apply to all entrant/s of the competition.
  • By completing and submitting an entry form the entrant/s hereby consents to the terms & conditions of the competition and further agree to abide by any and all rules and regulations.
  • The closing date for applications is the 2nd April 2010. Unfortunately, applications received after this date cannot be included.
  • Entrants will be selected at the sole discretion of the judging panel, whose decision will be final and binding upon all entrants.
  • Your application can only be considered if all the requested information is provided.
  • By submitting your material the entrant consents to allow Dublin City Soul Festival to display said audio content and any relevant website/myspace details on the Official Soul Festival / Rising Stars website/s for the visiting public to review. (N.B. Your audio will be made available for download at www.risingstars.ie). Furthermore the artists consent to allow the promoters (Dublin City Soul Festival) to use said audio to promote awareness of the event and artists.
  • Any and all personal details and/ or information provided by entrants in the application or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
  • The Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entrant/s that has supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information, has failed to abide by the Rules and/ or is in breach of the terms & conditions hereof.
  • The competition is open to unsigned artists only (i.e. applicants must not be affiliated with any major record label).
  • The completion of an application does not guarantee that an applicant will be successful.
  • Successful applicants may be asked to sign further agreements / release forms in the course of their involvement in the competition.
  • Successful applicants should ideally have some availability for promotional activity from May 1st to May 21st 2010.
  • Successful applicants must be available for showcase performances between May 27th to May 30th 2010.
