Q1. Where are you from?

We all come from Tallaght in Dublin

Q2. Musical influences?

Oh there’s too many to mention them all, we have big influence from the big songwriters of the last few generations, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Bob Dylan.

Q3. What’s your song writing process?

Well in a sense we write the songs together in the way that somebody would write a song and bring it to the band and we’d all chop and change it and arrange it together and what we leave with is never even slightly resembling what came in.

Q4. Most bizarre gig experience?

When playing a gig in Tallaght we had filled the place so that you couldn’t move and the energy was so intense that at the end of the set everyone got up on stage with us and started dancing and we blew a bass amp and a guitar amp.

Q5. If you could share the stage with anyone, who would it be and why?

We’d probably share the stage with The Beatles and Led Zeppelin so that we could all die happy.

In their own words

Coming from influences such as The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and other bright sounds of the 60’s and 70’s along with some darker undertones they are known for their energetic live shows and catchy songs. This act are a must see. The Stoney Brokes Self Titled Ep will be released in October this year.
