In their own words….

I’ve been singing and playing guitar for almost 14 year playing small concerts/tours/acoustic+live band gigs. I also have acted/performed in amateur musicals from the age of 13, and kind of stopped when I was 19. My band (linked below) started to kick off and had some good reviews from Metal Hammer and being accepted for a playing a tour in the Czech Republic. At that time, I was recording my album “Shared Illusions” in 2005, which is now currently mastered with all the art work (all on my Showboy facebook page) and later released this month.

But why the name Showboy? Some laughed, other’s with tears of joy….some people just went, “yeah, that sounds about right..!”. I basically play each set as a concept, and play through a few songs before stopping…I always have, and always will…i find it gets the story of what im talking about a bit clearer to the audience…I do sweat a bit, but hey, i give it more than 100%.
Im on a Music and Sound Tech course at Portsmouth University, and am currently promoting for Glade festival, as well as setting up my own promotion comapany which is in the making…
…so, yeah, im a busy chap. But if you love something that much…you don’t do it for the money, you do it to live life, and a happy one at that!!

I have a whole other album of other work im recording this summer, which is kind of the “new set” of songs i’m going to play, one of which being “Done the Doing” (GigPig Promotional CD out on 21st April).
