In their own words….

Introducing a whole new sound and style which has proven to be pleasing to young and old tastes. Fuzing Funk, Jazz, Rock, swing and classical sounds all together in a way only Lucid have been successful in making work. Only good things can happen when you join 4 of Irelands top musicians together each with their own little token to add. When you listen to Lucids new EP you are immediately hit with the haunting sound of ‘Wrath Of Me’ . The initial guitar and bass strike from Aidan and Tomas, spelling out an immediate feeling of doom, until you hear the incredible subtle yet powerful vocals of Siobhan. Her voice demanding attention the start. ‘ I pretend, I pretend im not on Trial. Im just on view. Yes view me’. The opening lyrics at the start of ‘Wrath Of Me’ have yet to cease making my hair stand on end. An introduction so tame and pieceful with words so powerful. You are then led down a musicaly meandering path which you cannot help yourself be led by the compelling tale being sang by Siobhan. ‘I Spit Fire’. With a burst of drums and Cymbals from Stephen, you are thrust into the heart of this masterpiece. Beating life into this majestic song. Lucid are set to take the music industry by storm . Releasing a whole new original sound for you to enjoy. In between booking a very busy gigging schedule around Ireland for 2010, Lucid are in the studio yet again writing no doubt another batch of infectious songs just waiting to get under your skin.
