In their own words….
Jupe are a Dublin based ensemble who live and breathe for the sounds they create. The band consists of Tim Night (Vocals and Guitar), Phil Costello (Lead Guitar), Brendon Rennie (Drums and percussion) and David Budai (Bass).
And what does the popular 4 piece band have in common with The Beatles? Both bands worked at the iconic Abbey Rd studio!
Described as “Ireland’s answer to the Counting Crows” (Heineken Music) the long awaited single from Jupe offers a vibrant, modern Americana sound that is both rich and raw, tuning into everyone from the indie rock lovers to the soul smitten.
Since filling the Village in June of 2009, Jupe have been selling out shows all over the Dublin Circuit and are now ready to release their début single Real You, produced by ‘Republic of Loose’ recording genius Gareth Mannix and re-mastered in the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
The single will be launched with a gig in The Odessa Club, Dublin on 13th March. Admission is FREE and support will be from The Shoos. Doors open at 7.30. ‘Real You’ will be available for download on I-tunes and in all good record stores from 13th March.
All proceeds from the “Real You” single and the launch gig will be donated to the Concern Worldwide Emergency Haiti Appeal.
