In their own words….
Joey McCall grew up on the tough streets of Chicago. He has paid his dues, playing the honky-tonks of the Arizona desert, the gin mills of the Florida space coast, and all points in between. As a guitarist he has backed up blues legend Paul Butterfield, Rick Danko (The Band), and Jorma Kaukonen (Hot Tuna, Jefferson Airplane). He has shared the stage with The Marshall Tucker Band, David Crosby, and traded song critiques at home with Donovan.
Lately, you can catch him playin’ with his bluesrock band ANGELTRAIN around Donegal. Joey has come to call Ireland his home, and continues to write and record songs that are both heartfelt and honest.
Sounds great! In a couple of parts the music swallowed up your vocals and you were hard to hear. Do another. Try The Way for me! XXOO

Can someone explain how this voting works?
Hi,
The way it works is as follows: voting is now open until the week of the festival.
The top voted acts are then judged by our panel to appear at one of the showcase nights in Dublin.
The outright winner from these shows then will play at the Soul Picnic !
Best of luck,
Paul
great to hear your voice singing, been a long time since I have seen you!
have no idea how to vote, or if I am too late… will look further… with loveā„
S0 great to hear that voice, Joe! Started out a bit like Paul Simon, but ended up all Joey McCall…..Couldn’t be better. Thanks……
