In their own words….

Peppered with rock’n’roll & funk, akin to the FFF of the NIneties, Freaky Frog embodies a powerful sound, complete with Led Zep-like rhythms and Hendrix inspired riffs.

The instrumental trio first came together at the dawn of spring 2007 : something special happened between Jean, Chris and Freddy right from day one. Who knows what it was, but it has grabbed them & won’t let go ! Florent, a close friend of Jean’s and long time musician like his partners in crime, then slipped very comfortably into this musical embryo and added his voice to the ensemble. A soulful, sensitive, yet powerful sound was created : Freaky Frog was born !

Pooling their musical influences, they went about developing their own unique style : there are traces of jazz, snippets of blues, lumps of rock…and so much more. Whether they are performing their own tunes or someone else’s you can’t escape the Freaky Frog “je ne sais quoi”. Dyed in the wool live performers, Freaky Frog is a band which exudes life and friendship and unleashes a passion so strong, it creates an instant bond !
