In their own words….

Starting out on keyboards with rock band “Turn”, Fiona has since written and produced her own debut album, “The fear I fear”, to critical acclaim.

“The fear I fear” is largely piano / keyboard driven and slides between brooding, soulful tracks with strong dynamics, to pure pop!

The title track was released as the first single in April 2009 and was featured on Tony Fenton’s (Today FM) daily download and the second single “Love in the movies” was released digitally through Universal records.

Fiona’s voice may be recognisable from the Bulmers / Magners Christmas TV advertisement 2007 / 2008 – singing a cover of “Apple Tree”.

“[The fear I fear]…A mix of smoky 80s synth-chic and edgy jazz lounge wrap a voice that’s true with cool assurance” (Eamon Carr, Evening Herald).

““The fear I fear” is awash with songs that could easily make Melady Ireland’s next big daytime radio star… these are chart hits in the making” (Hot Press).
