In their own words….
Irish singer-songwriter Siobhan Day was born in Belfast into a musical family. Growing up she would be surrounded by a wide range of musical tastes from Irish Traditional to Guns ‘N’ Roses to Frankie Vali & The Four Seasons. At a very early age Siobhan learnt to play the keyboard and tin whistle, but she first picked up the guitar at the age of 13 which would be the beginnings of a very clear and exciting path into music.
Having music as a way for Siobhan to cope with events in her life was a cathartic release; writing about love and loss, hope and growing up, memories and dreams. The music is a mixture of contemporary folk and acoustic rock, drawing influences from her childhood experience and her current musical tastes.
Siobhan has recently started gigging and is currently working on getting into the studio to record her first EP with a lot of positive interest in her work and exciting plans for the year ahead.
You can catch her live in coffee shops, singer-songwriter nights and even busking in and around Belfast city centre.

I liked this song, Bad Day. I am more of a Celtic music lover; my rocking days were back in the 60s. But this song is a nice soft rock, and I quite enjoyed it. I would buy a recording from you.
Are you represented by any labels? I don’t have a credit card – don’t want one – so I need to know how to buy your music.

We have featured Siobhan on our site. She is a very talented up and comer and I see great things in her future. Her songs go far beyond the boy meets girl type of song most songwriters start out with. I see her as a songwriter for her generation as Carol King and Carly Simon have been for other generations.
Siobhan Day is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter, her music can evoke emotions as it comes from the heart. She truely deserves recognition for her work.
fresh. would like to here more.
absolut brilliant. who is this girl. where has she come from, why has she not got a rcord label. totally original and songs of dept and meaning not the usual trash. great soft rock but not allienating the oridinary liastening. bring her on
excellent artist imo. I stumbled upon her a while back on myspace and instantly fell in love with her track “Burn”. incredibly emotional song for me without being too soppy in the singer songwriter sense. Love her!

That’s the stuff kiddo, very good stuff like the song, keep up the good work!
The acoustic guitar is soft and soulful. The lyrics are deep and meaningful. The result is a heartfelt, emotional performance from a talented, young up-coming star. Siobhan Day rocks and I have no doubt that her day will come very soon.

truely brilliant, i love it!
Siobhan is a great artist with a lot musical generosity: she gives and shares true emotions through each of wonderful lightning songs. Don’t forget that she can catch the moonlight with her fingers and send it away through her music… see her picture if you don’t trust me
classic stuff… some people think i’m reckless too but that don’t bother me.
