In their own words….

My background is writing poetry, started seriously writing songs about 2  year’s ago .I started playing to people a year ago. I met eileen at  a poetry reading last year. We started playing together in july. We have only played live together 5 times. One of those times was the flatlakes festival also le cheile festival.

I write most of the material and Eileen arrange’s it. We are in the middle of recording an e.p  and it is just finished. Eileen’s background is a degree in music,
she teaches music in the colleges in Cavan. She arranges for various musicians. She was the musical director behind last years , blue valentine tom waits tribute nights ,in the speigal tent in cavan festival. She’s just finished arranging and producing an album for the song sisters.(close harmony singers).

Her influence’s range from Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley to Elgar. Lyrically my influences are the poets Robert Service and Pat Ingoldsby. Musically, from Brendan shine to boards of canada anything with a melody.
We played on most of the local radio stations, and we done r.t.e’s arena programme. One of our tunes is on the bbc radio playlist . “california”
we supported Soony Condell (of scuillion). This is what he said about us;
