Elavator are a Dublin three-piece rock band. They have progressive tendencies and often adopt a 12 bar blues approach. Their sound is greatly inspired by Rory Gallagher, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who and Ocean Colour Scene, to name a few. They have forged their own raw, retro style and are well renowned amongst the Dublin gigging circuit, setting the stage alight in venues such as the Village, Whelans, the Button Factory, Thomas Reeds, Pravda and the Mezz. The band released their e.p. in the Twisted Pepper in June ’09 in front of a packed audience. The cd is currently on sale in Tower Records, Wicklow St.
Elavator have been finalists of the Emergenza (June 2008) and King Kong Club (January 2009) Battle of the Bands. They were nominated for ‘Best of Show’ at the Balcony T.V. Awards 2008, along with the likes of Paddy Casey and Zoe Conway. Their track ‘Revolver’ was used on the ‘Saints in Europe’ DVD released by St. Patricks Athletic in December 2008.

The band consists of Anthony Burke drums, Keith Mahon bass and Greg Clifford vocals and guitar.
