In their own words….
Eddie Elliott, 26, is a singer/songwriter who possesses a passion for singing and a natural talent for harmony that characterise his entire output. His individual sound and style are a melting pot of R&B, Soul and Pop. Catchy melodies, with both emotional and light-hearted subject matter, engage the listener and his works are suffused with his trademark close harmony singing producing a refreshing new take on past influences. The minimalist piano and central harmonies in ‘Lost’ bring to mind John Legend, while Hammond organ, rhythmic bass and brass stabs in ‘Pretty Pretty Boy’ might suggest Stevie Wonder, but the tongue-in-cheek lyrics have a guileless manner all Elliott’s own.
Hailing from South London, Eddie grew up in church and school choirs, and went on to train as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is currently a singer and performer on the West End stage and around the UK.
This talented singer’s inventive and varied compositions, enhanced by the rich baritone caramel tones that reveal (engendered by) his African ancestry, make Eddie Elliott a consummate quality performer.
