In their own words….

DHJ are a four piece alternative rock band from Co. Wexford, Ireland. Together since the beginning of 2009, the three founding members Bjorn Jenkins, Ryan Devereux & Eoghan Finn began to work on material together (much of which had been in the working for years) whilst seeking out a drummer. After lots of thought, ciggarettes & doubles, Stephen Murphy joined on drums and settled right away completing the outfit. Since the earliest jams and first few humble shows, DHJ have gone from strength to strength, with an ever growing number of people seeming to sit up and take notice wherever theres a DHJ show. Over the latter half of 2009, the band has played in venues the length and breadth of the country, as well as beginning the labourious process of recording their debut E.P in October. And took great joy from supporting and befriending Wallis Bird at a surprise gig in Wexford. With things looking bright for the band in 2010, an E.P release in the pipeline and being as hungry for live shows as ever, make sure you buzz along & catch a DHJ show when we play near you.
