Juggling life as both a full-time singer-songwriter and college student, Lorraine is just amazing. Her mellow spicy tune not only touches the Hearts of Neo – Soul fans but brings hope to the future of African ‘Muziki’.At 22 years old, you could easily compare her to the likes of Keyshia Cole or Alicia Keys.

Though she hasn’t recorded as many songs as one would expect, Lorraine is still determined that she will make it in such a ‘delicate’ music industry. She has the patience and works hard for the sake of her dreams.“Music has been the love of my life, and it’s only a matter of time before I become a house old name” She says. Her musical history is quite interesting.

She first got introduced to secular music before switching to spiritually oriented music after listening to Trinity 57 and Out of Eden’s powerful music. By the age of 12, Lorraine was already writing her own music, tapping the piano and occasionally performing in Church. Unfortunately, like Most African kids, she lacked the resources and financial back up to record an Album. It took a while before the moment that she met Gideon Kimanzi, a Kenyan born Producer and Founder of GydKim Studio with whom she worked with to produce the hit introduction Single “Remix It” which defines the relationship between Man and God. The Single which is yet to be officially released is just a stepping stone for greater things to come.
