Chequered Baam are a new four-piece band who hail from South County Dublin. Formed while at school in 2008, Chequered Baam – Ben on lead guitar, Andrew on vocals and rhythm guitar, Adam on drums and Michael on vocals, bass and piano – have performed in Craw Daddy, The Village and The Purty Kitchen.

Their debut album, ‘Anything And Everything With Everything For Anything’, recorded January 2009, is scheduled for release in September. Chequered Baam are known for their distinctive high energy, unique and catchy style, from which fan favourites such as ‘Colour Blind Colour’ and ‘Oh, Play That Thing’ have come. Writing all their own material, this young vibrant band is ready to be ‘cheque’d out this summer.
