Chaplain – Over & Under

Hailing from Wexford in the South East of Ireland, Chaplin have quietly been establishing themselves as purveyors of top quality music for the last number of years.

Drawing on a diverse collective musical background and a love for melody, the band’s sound has elements of country, folk, rock and pop which are blended together to form a distinctive and harmonious whole.

Their forthcoming single “Over and Under” is set for release on Monday the 11th of May.

With a number of consecutive rainy summers, and the constant unending flow of bad news, the band feel like it’s time to put some positivity back in the frame and put some pep back in the collective step with a melodic blast of sunny power pop.

The song with its five part vocal harmonies and crisp instrumentation, it evokes sunshine and naïve teenage idealism. The lyrics yearn for peace and love while remembering the simple pleasures of the beach on a Summer’s day.

So join Chaplin in praying for “peace love and all that hippy stuff”
