In their own words….
The Barley Mob’s philosophy is about promoting positivity and how the influence of music has the power to change the perspective of the listener.
Formed early 2010, this 4 piece band aim to spread a change in perspective far and wide, with Lyrically uplifting songs like…
“We Go The Distance”…(written about the strength of Irish people in the current times of trouble and bullshit)…and…”Mr. Government Man”..(which talks of the disbelief in the decisions of Ireland’s “so-called” leaders who clearly have no respect for anyone but themselves)…and.. “Never Be Lost When You’ve Got Muisc”…a celebration of music and its power of guidance…
The band consist of: Adam Daly on lead vocals and guitar..Neil Butler on drums/percussion..Andy Moore on lead guitar and vocals and Johnnie McCormack on Bass and vocals..all of whom have extensive live experience both Nationally and internationally, with lead singer Adam spending 4 yrs learning the professional music trade from Kildare singer Jack L and even performed at Glastonbury Music Festival in 2007.
Upbeat Reggae grooves and an overwhelming sense of connection and community re-inforce the opinions and beliefs of The Barley Mob’s music…
“The solution to most of our individual problems can be found in the problems themselves”… Adam Daly
