The Wire Walkers – Nightshift

The WireWalkers is a trio of french musicians who decided to leave their homeland and move to Ireland in summer ’07. Coming from different musical fields, the influences are very ecclectic, going from electronic/experimental music to rock/folk, from french music to american singer/songwriters.
Our music could be described as electro/rock as guitars and computers play a major part in the writing and the performing of the songs. And if there are no boundaries set, the golden rule is to do our best to make something different.

Because when you can’t find anything to satisfy your hunger out there, you just have to cook it yourself…

Stone Throwing Youths – There There……There There

Stone Throwing Youths are a music group centring around multi instrumentalist Brian Casey, who produces, writes and performs all music in the studio. For live shows, he is joined by a varying line-up of friends who help make up the ever changing live performance.
Stone Throwing Youths is rich and powerful alternative rock music, a throwback to 1990’s grunge – a more expansive sounding Nirvana mashed into the Smashing Pumpkins with a splash of Radiohead.
After the split of his previous band Mannikin in 2008, Casey began writing songs for his own voice with no clear plan. Writing was liberating and prolific, however other like minded band members were difficult to come by. Casey decided to go ahead and begin recording material under the band name Stone Throwing Youths doing everything himself.
So far a single EP has been completed over 2 days in October 2008. The EP’s sound was intentionally stripped down to aggressive guitars, powerful vocals and energetic drumming, all performed by Casey.
The EP was made available in February 2009 and has sold well, received radio airplay on regional and college stations and was met with enthusiasm by all listeners.
Many more dates around the country are booked for the coming months as well as a string of unique acoustic gigs.
